Results of the Haiku Poetry and Anime Drawing of Contests

Congratulations to the winners of the contests that were part of the Japanese Cultural Event held on April 14th, 2011. The results and winning entries are listed below.

Winners of the Haiku Poetry Contest


1st Place    -     Jordan Stack

                 A lifespan so short
                        yet radiant in its time
                                a blossom of pink


2nd Place    -    Chris Dunn

                one time I was free
                         now a running wheel I tread
                                  I move but stay still


3rd Place    -    Marin Darmonknow

                OUR EARTH IS TREMBLING
                          OUR EARTH IS SHAKING WILDLY
